The Jan/Feb 2010 issue will be delivered beginning this week. If you have trouble finding your copy send us an email and we will let you know the closest location to your home or work!
We are so excited to be publishing the first issue of 2010 and especially to announce our new Eco-Friendly publication.
Not only is our new paper stock partially recycled, but the inks are soy based. Soy ink is a kind of ink made from soybeans. As opposed to traditional petroleum-based ink, soy-based ink is more Environmentally Friendly and is available in brighter colors, and makes it easier to recycle paper.
We want to do our part in the effort to save resources; our advertisers are pleased to be working with an Environmentally Responsible publication and our readers are sure to be pleased with not only our superior quality but also happy to know that they are supporting an Environmentally Conscious community magazine.
Printing on recycled stock is the single most important step for any community magazine and did you know nationally only about 2% of publications do.
We ask our readers to do their part, share your copy of The Southern Maryland Woman with your friends and family members...reuse and recycle.

Nov/Dec 2009 Issue
The Holiday Issue will be in circulation this week...we have a special holiday guide packed with articles relating to...yup, you guessed it- the holidays. It's never to early to start planning your parties and gift shopping. We have loads of coupons and special promotions on products and services- consider them presents from our advertisers (thank you!).
Dr. Drury continues her relationship column, this time taking a close look at Why Women Cheat. If you missed her article last issue, which focused on the reasons behind men's infidelity, give us a call or send an email to info@southernmarylandwoman.com. You don't want to miss that article...men and women stray for very different reasons.
We have finally incorporated an events calendar! Very much requested by our readers, so hopefully you all find some fun activities in the region, to enjoy in the coming weeks.
Pet Paparazzi is back again thanks to Chesapeake Pet Resort. Don't forget to send your pretty pet photos for the Jan/Feb 2010 issue.
And, we are very excited to have our 1st Annual Announce Your Engagement section next issue. Send us a photo and a brief description of how ya'll met (info@southernmarylandwoman.com). This is completely free for our readers! What a great way to celebrate your engagement... and yes, Gentlemen, we are expecting many proposals in the next few weeks.
